Popular North York Moors pub The Lion Inn at Blakey Ridge damaged in serious fire overnight

A salvage operation is underway after a serious fire broke out at a North York Moors pub last night.

Often used it as a stop - off on walks and bike rides.
Hope its OK and able to trade when lock-down ends.

They have posted on their Facebook page, the fire was in a storage room with the furniture they took out for social distamcing. The pub itself is undamaged
