I wasn't aware Forss was injured until recently, so id assumed he'd benched him. Apart from that my only problem is with Dieng not playing, ultimately injuries have forced Carrick's hand

It certainly seems that way and I'm not sure Dieng is fit enough to start yet either.

If he's not fit enough to play, he shouldn't be on the bench.
It's not like an outfield player where there are multiple options, there's usually only one keeper on the bench and he should be able to play a full match if needed.
If Dieng couldn't play from the 2nd minute, then Jamie Jones should be on the bench.
Carrick has created a rod for his own back by having a much better keeper on the bench whilst Glover makes mistake after mistake.

Dieng hasn't played since he got injured so he's maybe on the bench because he's not fully fit. Better to let him get fit and back than risk a relapse.
Not sure a 3rd choice keeper is the best option unless we are desperate.

One of our best performances of the season came with Silvera up top.
I'd be happy with McNair in midfield or at the back - I'd prefer the 523 we played against villa/Chelsea.
I do think Carrick needs to start letting the youngsters/deep squad players (Hoppe) have a game. One may surprise like Hackney/Akpom did (Although very unlikely).

I hope not. That’s usually what you get from a manager who has ran out of ideas and knows the end is near.
I remember towards the end of Mowbray’s time here the lineups just got more and more bizarre!

There can also be a sticking point of... Well it worked before... its where wilder got stuck and Leo inserting Hackney was even a huge injection to a team devoid of confidence.
A new face that will at minimum try hard to win their place.
How big a squad would we need to cope with about a dozen injuries? 30 players?
You can’t plan for that.

We are desperate but you would rather have an unfit(your surmising) than our number 3 keeper who has been on the bench since Dieng went awol for internationals.

If you look at the two players for each position idea - it seems we weren't in a terrible squad at the end of August.

(Vdb being ready a bonus)

That's looks a pretty good squad to me without the injuries.
It can't be much bigger. Beyond 25-26 players you have to be willing to try youngsters.
Each injury puts extra pressure on the others which causes more injuries

The leaked team was basically 100% leaked. As said the Club need to conduct a proper enquiry into who leaked the team. There must be only 30 or so people who had the information initially. One has broken their contract and let the squad and the fans down. I actually feel like contacting Gibson.
