The Lion King 2, loved the original, probably my favourite Walt Disney film, not as good as the original mind👍

Hurricane, cracking film about Polish pilots during WW2, great viewing👍

The Sound of music, big hit with me, love it, watched it lots of times, nice family viewing, though my wife won't watch it, boooooo

Julie Andrews a brilliant actress & beautiful woman

1917 - loved every minute - very British and not over violent . Recognised Low Force......
Once Upon A Time In Hollywood - great watch for the 60s US retro sets...
Joker - found it a hard watch -

All in a thai movie house so may have been cut a lot

1917, really awesome
Emma - a must see
Dolittle - utter cobblers.

My favourite movie of all time is Ghost. Not because of the plot mind, I just loved Demi Moore at that time

Ford.vs.Ferrari - Mix dazzling performances from Damon & Bale with a great script and an engaging backstory and you get a movie well worth watching.

Knives out - Old school whodunit that turns outcomes on their head! A real treat in a witty and smart telling with an amazing cast and twist to match, see and enjoy.

Midway (2019) - A retelling of the battle between USA and Japan fought in the shadow of Pearl Harbour. Great cast, poor adaptation, special effects are obvious and the actual dramatic content feels underplayed. Old school Sunday afternoon film after a roast?

Sound of Music was the last film you watched? . Am assuming it’s ion demand then as it was last shown on terrestrial tv at Christmas.
I have a fantastic cinema close by to me. Boutique.
Last 3 films all within last ten days.

Jojo Rabbit, Memoirs of David Copperfield and the quite simply brilliant 1917.

Sometimes, Always, Never - lovely wee British low budget film, shot in a knowingly 60's spy film-style. Great cast featuring Bill Nighy, Tim McInnerny & Jenny Agutter
Little Women - enjoyed it after a very ponderous first half hour
Dunkirk - hated everything about it. During the ridiculous, never ending cruise of the shot-to-bits Spitfire I actually laughed out loud.

Hot Air - absolutely horrendous, cant get past Steve Coogan's awful attempt at an American accent
1917 - quality
The Joker - very good,

Parasite - worthy Oscar winner, darkly funny.
The Big Lebowski - well you just have to don't you.
Paul Fiction - As above.

If we're talking cinema it's as follows.

1917 - loved it, from start to finish. My first IMAX experience too
Cats - see below
Joker - incredible, can't wait to see it again.

My youngest wanted to see Cats so we took her and a friend, had her friend not been enjoying it, we would have walked out, several families did. My daughter said it was boring and wanted to go home about 30 mins in.

The Hand that rocked the Cradle - strange film that!
Lion King 2 - Absolutely incredible. Not the same as the animated version, but it was never going to be.
The Gentlemen - Great film by Guy Ritchie

1917 - loved every minute - very British and not over violent . Recognised Low Force......

Snap - the more i thought about and researched Once upon a time .. the more I appreciated it. Love the alternate ending Tarantino puts forward compared to the actual reality of the events

Zombieland 2
Gemini Man
Ford V Ferrari (one of the best films I have seen in a while)

Watched them on a flight from Atlanta to Amsterdam, so have no idea what bits were cut out.

I enjoyed 1917 up to the point where he smacked the German soldier in the face and ran off.

The last 3 films watched were:

Jojo Rabbit - very enjoyable, I much preferred it to 1917.
Little Women - I wasn’t expecting great things but I found it very engaging.
Parasite - great story with an interesting twist.
