The Haunted Generation... radio show for 1970s kids

Brand new Episode 6... and it's a bumper edition. Music from Pipkins (and The Pipkins), Toni Arthur, Bernard Cribbins (disguised as Buzby), Isla St Clair and more... plus school assembly hymns and an exclusive extended interview with the wonderful Mandy Morton, talking all things Spriguns of Tolgus and playing tracks from the beautiful new Cherry Red Records box set.

Thanks to this forum's own Harry Gallagher, who said it "feels like poking around a dusty airing cupboard and finding cotton sheets still holding 50 year old warmth". Although if he had cotton sheets in 1972 he was doing alright, everyone else had nylon.

It's all here...

I loved the show when you had an expert in a subject on. The bloke who knew music he was unreal as was the bloke who knew local history.

Love this stuff.
As an absolute addict of 60s&70s telly, Public Information Films, BBC/ITV schools programmes and lover of Manchester Tart, it ticks all my boxes.

I still miss Gobstopper. Just talking about it last night with my 31 year old son over from Canada for a few weeks (he was 13 at the time we listened to it) brought back all sorts of memories.

Haunted Generation Radio Show No 7! With music from Flintlock, Play Away, Meco, Grotbags, 1970s test cards, Chocky, BBC Radio Blackburn, Robin of Sherwood, school assemblies... plus my terrible Obi-Wan Kenobi impersonation. And a hell of a lot of Tomorrow People talk. Bumper edition!

I follow 'Scarred for Life' on Twitter and he posts a lot of those public information films and creepy stuff from the 70's

Flintlock?
Mike Holloway? - the teenage girls drum-meister hearthrob star of "You Must Be Joking" and "The Tomorrow People"??
