The Friday beer and music thread!

Afternoon folks, a new era is upon us. I'm talking about Michael Carrick of course rather than Rishi Sunak, not least because PMs dont tend to last as long as managers these days, not even at the Boro!

I think I'll be tucking into an old favourite this week on both musical and beer counts. Ole Peculier is, IMHO, still one of the best drinks ever made and often enjoy one or two.



In regards to music I'm going to start with one of my favourite bands of all time and very appropriate too given they've announced a new tour together next year. Yep, its Pulp and they're so great they even have a thread of their own on here today. Happy weekend!

Had several pints of Leffe on draft before going to see Dylan in Hull. Tasted lovely at the time, perhaps too nice!
Head in a shed this morning.

I might chance a click then. I've never really watched much anime, not even something as high profile as Spirited Away which I've meant to watch on loads of occasions over the years but just never got around to.

Two things Mr Gord, Old Peculiar is by far and away one of the greatest things on this green and pleasant land, secondly please stop promoting the news that Pulp are touring again next year otherwise I’ll never get a bl00dy ticket!!!

Musically I have been posting New Music to FMTTM and also listening to murder ballads for possible forthcoming compilation.

North Brewing Distant Call NEIPA first, some more IPAs chilling in the fridge. Village beer festival tomorrow and the wife’s 50th birthday weekend so red, white, sparkly wines then g&ts for next few days.

Leffe is a wonderful drink, but several pints of it can only lead to one thing haha! Hope you're not feeling too tender today.
