The Friday beer and music thread

On the subject of wandering beer glasses. A lot of the fanciest glasses are promotional items that the brewer/manufacturer give to pubs to help push their product. The staff find them a pain to wash and clean, they take a lot of room on the shelves and are a pain to collect from tables so they are often quite happy to see them gradually disappear!

Parma Violet Ale? Does this taste as foul as it sounds? This from someone who drank Creme Egg Stout last week. 👎
I can confirm after due diligence I am back on carling and parma violet beer isn't very good. It tastes like parma violets but...... Not for me.

Brittney Spencer covers "Midnight Train to Georgia" from Jason Isbell's upcoming album "Georgia Blue" fulfilling a promise Mr. Isbell made when Georgia voted Democrat in the 2020 Presidential Election. Album will include covers of other Georgia artists including REM's "Nightswimming" and tracks by James Brown and Otis Reading.
