The foul on Van den Berg and no booking?

I like Maddo but I can’t always agree with him.

The game against West Brom when Jones got taken out as last man. On one hand he was saying it wasn’t a foul, but it was last man. But it wouldn’t be “fair” for the referee to send him off.

Would love to know where “fairness” comes into the last man rule.

As the referee gave the free kick it should have been a straight red. Harsh, maybe but those are the rules.

As usual, we had another Championship referee with no bottle or ability to make the right decision.

I thought today’s one on Rav was a clumsy coming together instigated by their player. Rav was away. Booking for me but only watched it back once.

Maddo still analyses games as if it was the early 90's when he was playing.

The officials were shocking. Carrick usually quiet and calm during the game was angry and vocal with the officials.

Maddison is a professional BBC presenter these days, he probably has to be careful what he says.

Maddo watches a different game to everybody else. When you listen to him alongside the footage you can see he talks utter bollox half the time.
