The fog of war

The naval commander had a photo op with 100 of the sailors......wonder why so many, yet not all 550? I suspect it was a massive loss of life.
 
Many reporting it could be up to 500 killed. The majority of the ships company.

Yet Russia still banging out that most of them got off alive onto a neighbouring ship.
 
Modern warfare rapidly taking shape. Surface warships and tanks could be obsolete. Ironically, it was a Russian Admiral who described our latest carrier as a 'sitting duck'.
 
I have no idea how many sailors survived the sinking. Unless there was a surface vessel close bye. I would assume the crew went down with the ship. Will we ever know the truth. The captain went down with with ship. I would assume the crew went as well.
