Not the same post, not every day.Nobody said it wasn't reasonable to challenge it. What people ARE saying is that you don't need to spam the post with the same repetitive snipes post after post, day after day.
I’ll post as I see fit.

I don’t believe he would do that in or out of a press conference.Only if you believe that Xi would turn up to a joint presser, denounce his host publicly and tell him to withdraw from Ukraine etc.
Yes, you’re right.Ok gents, I think moving on and agreeing to disagree would benefit the thread.
That's what I think too.I think points have been made in defence of stances by both sides in this little disagreement (mwelolo v others), I think agree to disagree and let the thread continue as it is meant to rather than have it descend into a squabble.
Fair?
I think there has been a great deal of wild speculation, presented as coming from someone who is in the know ,which has consistently not come to fruition.
I have been saying this for months.
However, I am not suggesting there is anything malicious or deliberately duplicitous in this.
Misinformation, not disinformation. You are skating on thin ice.
Firstly, whatever your doubts about the source, he would not be still in his job if he was consistently wrong about this conflict, and the associated geo-politics. He is actually (unlike most of us) paid for his opinions on this terrible war.
Secondly, just because some of what you read on here is at variance with what you read on the BBC or in main stream news sources, doesn't mean that what you read here is wrong. On the contrary, it is often what you get from the mainstream media that is wrong/ill-informed. And I say that as someone who has worked in the mainstream media for decades.
Lastly, it is pretty clear what is speculation. Right or wrong, it is generally informed speculation.
There is a world of difference between healthy scepticism/disbelief and stating that what I chose to share on this thread is "misinformation". Take it or leave it has always been the guidance.

...Misinformation, not disinformation.
WhiIst information has been inaccurate I have never suggested it was deliberately misleading.
I'm not sure how you can claim there hasn't been misinformation in this thread.

On multiple occasions there have been posts by yourself and your source that Putin is under house arrest and replaced by body doubles and then claiming he was dead.
Along with plenty of other things that never panned out.
Unless you both still think Putin is dead, that's misinformation (which is not synonymous with disinformation).
Threatening a poster for questioning your information isn't a good look either.
I have no 'insider' knowledge but there are plenty of other sources also claiming he's either dead or very ill, and not just on here.I'm not sure how you can claim there hasn't been misinformation in this thread.

We really can't know whether he is alive or not. He may be.Plenty of misinformation, yeah.
He might well be ill, he's a bloated 70 year old **** leading a hugely destructive genocidal war and is inflicting huge self-harm on his own country, he's bound to be worse for wear.
I hope he is.
He clearly is not dead.
I hope he is soon.
We really can't know whether he is alive or not. He may be.
There are numerous sources referring to doubles. It's not a new thing. Even Churchill had a double.
I really can’t imagine they would wheel a double out for in-depth discussions with Xi.We really can't know whether he is alive or not. He may be.

Challenging is derailing?"He clearly is not dead."
For all you know, this could be misinformation.
Anway, for you and Mwelelo, best plan is stick to the Victor Meldrew line "I don't believe it".
That's fine. And please don't derail any more.
FFSChallenging is derailing?
