My understanding is that the cost of war, sanctions and a dwindling working population, is having a serious effect upon Russia and ordinary Russians. But the Kremlinski mafia are so mind bogglingly wealthy, it will impact them last. They just have to stay alive and out of the Hague to enjoy it. For ordinary Ivan the prognosis is bleak.Borolad
We all know that Putin and his cronies have little regard for human life but care deeply about wealth so excluding gdp which can look good on paper would you know the monetary spending of Russia mounting this unjust war?
