I've no idea, but if memory serves me correct, we only paid £2.2m for the whole of the Cleveland center. They just paid the initial asking price without negotiating? That's crazy.
Two years empty then reposes from the owner. Make sure it's in the clause, then banged to rights. We have a serious problem with derelict buildings owned by private business in our town and city centres. Their neglect by the businesses are blighting central areas, unwilling to look after and use them they should be relieved of them without these ridiculous sums being demanded from the local people.
I don't think banging them would solve anythingTwo years empty then reposes from the owner. Make sure it's in the clause, then banged to rights.

Oh yes indeed.I'm sure someone will make a killing out of the opportunity that the council will present.
Probably Preston-Houchen Inc. Ltd
I'm guessing it's easier to build from new to accommodate modern requirements, than to convert old buildings. We walked into town from Albert Park this week, how utterly depressing. Then you arrive in the rundown/empty town centre or rundown empty department shops. If you need a bookies or a vape shop, fill your boots. Actually even Boots was empty and looked like it was about to close down. Loads of new buildings going up over the border, but why? reuse what we already have!
Probably. Sad though.I'm guessing it's easier to build from new to accommodate modern requirements, than to convert old buildings.
