The Costa del Sol economy left 85 per cent paralysed by the new restrictions on all non-essential activity

Sounds sad. Hope your club keeps going.

Just lining up home and away meetings with my fellow Almería season ticket holding friend.

Looking forward to it.

You may have to put up with WBA being his old team.

"Sounds sad. Hope your club keeps going"

I'm sure we will - the smaller shareholders are very active, and as the article says, the City Council have got involved, stripped the Arabs of their shareholding, and appointed an Administrator to run the club while the ownership is being sorted

We're skint mind :(

We were based in San Pedro. TV station that carried the name of a subsequent major police operation. The only place I've ever gone into busines meetings where people were tooled up.

"San Pedro de Alcántara is in an ideal situation, just 10 kilometres west from all the glitz and glamour of Marbella"

I rest my case m'lud

Yeah. I would say though that I hated Banus with a passion. We used to call it Port of Abuse, for obvious reasons. San Pedro was a lovely place though. Especially the old pueblo. And I lived on the beach, right by the ballerina sculpture, which was also great. It was odd though, that whole paradise lost scenario. It was fine until big money (crime) moved in.
