The club needs to be very careful

This is not a rich area money was tight before but with the current state of the economy what was a deprived area has been hit even harder than most so naturally disposable income is at a premium.

There has been a lot of positives and good will built up since carricks arrival and the town has really bought into that feel good vibe but we are in danger of letting this unravel with a squad in free fall devoid of any real attacking threat ( no strikers in the bench yesterday) and a season that is slowly petering out in font of our eyes.

Next month is season ticket renewal time when we ludicrously pressure fans to renew long long before the season concludes to create our “war chest” but I fear seeing players sold snd not replaced a willingness to sell key assets will put people off and if we’re not careful could undo a lot of this good work as fans become dissolutioned and worse apathetic towards the club again.

A few more Results and performances lie yesterday and we could be back to the strachan era crowds, as walk ups just don’t bother if they think the side have given up.

It's certainly not the time to be bumping prices up that's for sure. They will freeze the prices surely.

We’ve had great crowds all season, a few poor results and its doom and gloom.
But people are starting to rightly get the hump with the clubs conduct recently, we sold our most exciting attacker, are currently selling a proven goal scorer, haven’t brought an actual striker in and the manager insists on playing people out of position and refuses to start the teams on CF up front. I wouldn’t be surprised if the numbers at the next games start dropping rapidly, why should fans go and spend their hard earned money and sing and show support when the players can’t even be arsed to try

Not doom and gloom reality this is what happens when you write of a season in feb.

As I say I’ll be there regardless im just making an observation.
Any criticism is doom and gloom, we must all remain positive no matter how bad things get and sit like happy clappers, according to Silvera anyway

Maddo if we lose today then the seasons done.

Do You think we’ll still make the play offs then ???
I think it’s possible, yes. I wouldn’t be surprised if we finished 6th, 9th or 12th.

Also Maddison is completely wrong to say that. It’s pure hyperbole. And complete nonsense.

He’s in the club though you don’t think they’d how the club thinks he’s not just a pundit.

Selling crooks is another white flag in my opinion.
You wouldn’t say Carrick and his team was waving the white flag to his face. And it’s because you know it isn’t true. Those inside the club do not think the season ended yesterday. It’s complete nonsense. Beat Preston and people will be talking about pushing for the top six again.

No strikers on the bench yesterday.

As I say I’m optimistic snd I’ll be there regardless but I think that’s it now. Yesterday was bad very bad I didn’t think we could play that bad at home.

Out of sight in 20 mins.

I think you said you didn’t think we could play that bad earlier on in the season. We are capable of being dogsh*t, we are capable of being brilliant. I don’t really understand why people are surprised by either at this stage, tbh.

And we don’t have any fit strikers. Who should’ve been on the bench?
