If Wigan beats Charlton, both of them could still overtake Boro. The only scenario that sees Boro safe before the last game is Barnsley losing at Leeds and Hull drawing with Luton. Or Boro beating Cardiff of course.

Charlton need to beat Leeds to overtake us if they lose to Wigan, and we need to lose both games.

It can happen, but I think it's very unlikely.

We're safe with a draw, whatever happens.
 
Huddersfield v WBA tonight. West Bromwich have to win otherwise Brentford will overtake them so can't see anything other than a West Bromwich win.
Huddersfield could easily go down

The season ends in 5 days, we still don't know what's happening with Sheffield Wednesday and their potential deduction.

I'm suspicious of the fact that no-one is offering relegation odds anymore, and it's been dragged out for so long.
 
So if Wigan beat charlton today convincingly then we would pretty much be safe as they would then only be able to draw with us if they beat Leeds and better our goal difference.

So come on Wigan

If Wigan draw, they cannot catch us and we are safe.
 
yeh so if we rely on the Wigan points deduction the best thing for us today is for Wigan to lose

A draw would be better, as that still keeps us safe but ensure's Charlton have fewer points than us on the off chance the deduction is overturned.
