The best player you have ever seen live

I have been very fortunate in my longish life to have seen play live Maradona, Messi, Zidane, Beckenbaur but the best has to be George Best.

Probably Henry. He was just majestic and almost used to glide across the grass. Also scored loads against us (to be fair he scored against everyone).

I remember seeing Robbie Keane when he was 17 for Wolves. He just 'looked a right player' even at that age. We then tried to buy him on several occasions.

The Wenger Arsenal team between 98 and 2004 was outstanding and several of their players destroyed Boro:

I'd choose Henry like many others.

Luka Modric, absolutely controlled the game from start to finish. Doesn't get spoken about as one of the all-time greats but he's dragged Croatia and Real Madrid through games single-handedly. Rolls Royce of a player.

Probably the best individual performance Ive seen live was Chris Waddle for Spurs when they played us in the 1988/89 season. He was unbelievable.
