Probably where I'll head to. As you say decent beers. I just wasn't sure what was still open.Linny said:
If you are looking for decent pub food vibe try The Chairman on Bedford street.
There is a place next door (Bedford social I think) that does food but I haven’t tried it.
Decent beers round there too
I'm hearing good things about Rio's the new steakhouse next to Holiday Inn, gonna give that a try soon.On a serious note where's best to eat on Saturday before the game. I've not been to Middlesbrough since February 2020so I have no idea what is still open/operating (TA is pretty fcuking useless). Not for a Parma but a decent lunch.
btw. I'd rather not have to walk up to the @r$e end of Linny Road either.
Thanks. I'll have a look at that on Saturday.I'm hearing good things about Rio's the new steakhouse next to Holiday Inn, gonna give that a try soon.
They've taken the website down. Perhaps they are finally going to get a new domain.Pizza and Colon Glands

We went last week, evenings are £29.99pp for a good selection of meats, its normally a salad buffet but, because of covid, we chose our salads from a menu. You then sit at your table and each person has a card, green one side and red the other. Turn it to green and the waiter will come with a skewer of meat and slice whatever you want. Red and they leave you eat. The steak cuts were really nice as was the lamb and gammon. I wasn't to keen on the belly pork though.I'm hearing good things about Rio's the new steakhouse next to Holiday Inn, gonna give that a try soon.
Last one I had in the Merlin was terrible. Not in Boro, but The Merlin in Billingham is spectacular.
Is that still open? The last time I went down Linthorpe Road it was boarded up.I prefer kilamanjaros to Manjaros, better quality
