The Bee Gees v The Beatles

Neither for me, can’t be doing with bee gees squeaky voices and if the beetles are ever on the radio when I’m driving I turn it over.

Agree on Here comes the Sun. There is a brilliant you tube if it being sung in a Madrid unemployment office.

As for the BGs, I prefer The Smith's.
 
well, opinion is a fickle thing ..... like comparing Sweet to Led Zep (yes I know Sweets B sides were mostly self written and decent rock tunes .... )
 
Beatles all the way for me too - my favourite band and the best ever imo.

That said, there was an excellent Bee Gees documentary on Sky recently. Hadn't realised just how good their early stuff was, incredible songwriters and musicians.

"Message to you" came on in the Mikkeller bar in Stockholm last week, I'd had a few beers by this point and was pleasantly surprised by how many Swedes were singing along into their pints :D
 
The Beatles were a class act, there's no denying it, but I think the BeeGees are responsible for some of the greatest pop songs ever written.

BeeGees win it by a nose for me.
 
Barry Gibb was in a bar, asked for a drink and was told he should go to the dentist. He was quite shocked, all he asked for was a small aperatif.
