Why didn’t he just whack it for crying out loud
I agree with you, it's only some fine tuning that is required. The problem is, the players/coaches need to be receptive to fine tuning. So far all we've seen is arrogance.189-1 and we had a crazy half hour against the short ball. Up until that point we done a lot of things right.
Better decision making and a bit of brain application would have went a long way.
We’ve had a lot of positive results playing positively. You can’t ask for it to be torn down and start again every time there’s a poor session of play.
So absolutely, fine tuning.
rightly so. Play aggressively but not stupidly! Even I with middling cricket knowledge was saying, just leave the short balls as there is a man out there to catch it. I just don't understand that mentality.Geoff Boycott would be muttering uncontrollably at all this.

I would have probably taken 350+ before the innings started but it's disappointing given where we were around 5pm yesterday.Probably get 360ish. Will need to bowl them out for 200 or less.
You seem like the know it all todayEvery wicket has been given away and not earned by the bowlers.

If we bowl like we did yesterday morning, the Test isn't gone yet. Australia obviously strong favourites now but it's not totally lost.
It is frustrating however that we are putting ourselves behind again through our own stupidity.
Who the effing hell is macullum? It’s great batting conditions and a relatively flat track that stokes asked for
The irony.
It’s over with smith and co
Robinson gone.
Wouldn’t surprise me if macullum is gone after this test and debacle!
