So it's in the news today that 5407 people provided 31794 contacts for our tracers to get in contact with.
Surely the number should be lower and it should only be people you live with on this list. This obviously isn't the case as I can't imagine each person lives with 6 others, and why would tracers be needed when the people you live with are supposed to isolate anyway.
Anyway my question is, does this mean that these positive people have broken any laws and by admitting being in contact with people are eligible for any fine/punishment?
I hope this makes sense as I'm just a little confused as the only person I'd be putting down if asked is my fiancee as she'd be isolating anyway.
