Televised games - announcement schedule

True, but Sky would hate having an empty away end.
It'll never happen. There are away fans who go week in, week out, and are clearly either minted or just willing to prioritise following the Boro above all else. They will never boycott even if they claim its too expensive.

Oh, I know that. I just like the idea of it.

Just been hearing from a Plymouth fan - they are logging up how many 3am starts they will now need to make before January.

What's going on with the Bristol City game? Moved to a Friday night but not confirmed on TV yet, not on the list of moved games on the EFL website and well beyond the window for games that were meant to be confirmed. It's almost as if there's something else going on in Bristol that weekend and it's moved for other reasons?

Yeah it says it on the Boro site announcement:

Our trip to Bristol City in February has also been re-arranged due to a clash of events at Ashton Gate, and the game will now take place on Friday 21 February (7.45pm).

It's horrendous, I don't know how so many of them do it.
Fans of clubs like Derby, Coventry etc in the middle of the country have no Idea.
Their Idea of a horrific journey is coming to Boro.

While I hate the schedule changes which has meant for years I have missed around 40% of home games a season travelling from East Midlands - work and family commitments mean midweek games are nearly impossible.... As are Friday and Monday nights ... At least now I can plan in more advance for Saturday or Sunday kick offs..... So without being in a minority of possibly one..... The changes are a little better..... Although would prefer 12.30 and 5pm on Saturdays if 3pm is a non starter and no Sunday football cos it's just shxt
