Anybody flown from there lately? Evidently they have a new system so you don’t need to bring liquids through security in 100ml bottles in clear plastic bags. Also don’t need to take ipads out of bag etc. Is this the case?

yeah its a 3d scanner you can bring liquids through up to 2ltrs, don't have to take anything out your bags like electricals etc either. Just shot your bag into a tray & send it through.

Still need to take belts shoes off & empty your pockets or anything that would activate the metal detector though.

Unless you want full body search of course

Last time I went through I got that much intimate attention at the security check that I made a joke that normally you would have to pay for it… it didnt go down very well

You need to make sure your returning airport also has the tech however else you're still having to do it on the way back

Thats correct came back from Faro last night and everything had to be taken out of bag.
