Crooks is a huge detriment to our team and we should be looking to replace him as soon as possible

He does not suit the way the team plays and if we want to progress we need to move on (very similar to Watmore in that regard)

Two good solid pros that came across as top people! But not what we need now

This statement is unfair. I do think we should be looking to replace him in the starting no10 role and of course he's a massive downgrade from Akpom but it's harsh to single him out as a huge detriment. He's better than some of the others in the squad.

Of course he is. Describing him as any other than a huge detriment is blinkered in the extreme. His passing is dreadful, he slows us down far too much and takes too many touches. On Saturday alone there were multiple attacks that broke down due to either poor decision making or poor pass execution. The difference between him and Akpom last season is possibly is possibly as big a downgrade as I've seen a Boro team make, teams after relegation aside.

We were never ever going to get anything other than a downgrade from Akpom. I'm disappointed we didn't bring in someone better than Crooks as well.
Crooks was woeful on Saturday, as was much of the team, but he was MOTM against Preston.

He's been better than Greenwood, Rogers and Silvera this season hence why he is starting.

Think he might drop to the bench tonight as it’s asking a lot to play so many games while still working his way back to fitness. Probably his worst game this season (not alone in that), if you picked any other game in probably the last 10 you would be laughed at for saying the same things.

Great buy Crooks, small transfer fee, lots of goals and assists,cracking signing....has his limitations but what a return on investment
