Team Againt Norwich

Don't agree with a lot if that, although I do agree that we're better with Fry when we don't have the ball and better with McNair when we do.

It's a balancing act and I'm not convinced even Carrick knows who is the better pick for him and the way he wants his team to play.
Quite telling listening to bbc tees tonight with the journalist Craig johns on as guest.
He was debating fry being out of the team and most tellingly said ‘I hope it’s fitness/injury related and Carrick doesn’t repeat the mistakes that Wilder made leaving fry out’ he went on to say that Neil Warnock famously said ; while manager ; dael fry is arguably as good as any defender in the championship.
I agree and to think he’s been left out based on ability;
no no no Mr Carrick; don’t care what you’ve won and how calm you are; fry is our clubs best defender by a mile.
End of.

I’m quoting Craig johns off bbc tees tonight. Get on the bbc app and listen to it for yourself. His words not mine but I agree with him.

"He's had a couple. He got a bang on his ankle last minute against Preston that set him back in the international week. Then he had a bit of a problem with his Achilles so it's not been one problem."

I'm quoting Michael Carrick off of manager of Middlesbrough Football Club. Get on the website and read it for yourself. His words not mine, but I agree with him.

HE'S BEEN INJURED YOU UTTER CRANK!

No point trying, he clearly has an agenda already against the manager. He will just keep going.

Couldn’t of put it better

Tbh I find it easy to see that Fry is a better defender than McNair. I can't wait until he's back in the side, it will give more reassurance and less defensive responsibilities to the likes of Smith for starters.

However I find it unthinkable too that Carrick would be such a poor judge of ability in relevant positions not to realise this, for 3 games in a row, to the extent that he even thought for the last one "Nah, we don't even need Dael on the bench this week..."

I also couldn't give a flying fu(k at a rolling donut what Craig Johns thinks regarding the whole saga tbh. It's irrelevant to me.

As for Carrick's comments, he's thought them out well. He probably hasn't mentioned Fry's injuries until now as why would he want opposition coaches to know A).Who was likely to play at CB and B).If Fry played any part that he was carrying a knock?
However after 3 games, he'll be only too aware that some supporters are beginning to question McNair's continued selection in place of Fry, so it's necessary for him to set the record straight. He's also done it in a way that offers no concrete answer about exactly when Fry will return, except he may well not play on Friday as there's a few medical issues. So opposing mangers are still left guessing.👍

And of course many probably don’t want to hear your opinions either but you give them all the same. It’s an open board so sound away but crikey you do come across as an half glass empty doom monger.

No, I was quoting Craig johns, a local journalist who is on bbc tees summing up on a weekly basis where boro are and how we are doing AND EVEN HE DIDNT KNOW the crack with Fry so perhaps the club should take some responsibility for the poor communication about Fry because I’d say 8/10 boro supporters know he ought to be starting games.
If card cheat wants to throw in a stupid insult at the end then I’ll have my say. If that rattles you too, so what.
