Bizarre.

Tavernier isn't great but McGree hasn't even played for us yet!
 
Crooks could do with learning how to get over a header. Head those two down, and they’re both in the back of the net. The winner last week was a little high in the goal (but in, of course, so i know I’m being picky). I was always taught to get my nose on the ball, from close range, to make sure the ball goes down

i was being flippant. I Really rate Howson & Crooks. Lets hope we go back to winning more than we lose.
Wilders called some players out tonight lets hope he changes things for saturday

Surprised Tav hasn’t played in his best position yet, which is left wingback (like his brother who plays right). He works hard, can cover and tackle. He is limited in midfield. When McGree comes back he should be left midfield with Tav outside putting in the crosses like Jonesy.
 
Look at the output of players like Watmore, Crooks and Jones in a much shorter space of time.

For an attacking player whos had LOTS of game time in the past 2 calendar years, his stats are shameful in my opinion.

I don't understand people defending last nights performance just because he "put 2 good crosses in". I'd fully expect him to put more than that in, expecially as for some bizzare reason hes on corner and free kick duties now. Which might I add, Mcnairs set pieces are much better.
 
Tav created 4 clear chances for us. Should easily have had 2 if not 3 assists.

crooks had a much poorer game. His overall play has been poor for a few weeks now… lots of sloppy passes.
 
He’s infuriating to watch because he can do the hard stuff but the simple things he messes up regularly. He seems to have such a lack of awareness when the ball is played into him, he often holds onto the ball for far too long when there are passing options and he misplaces easy passes all the time.

I can see why Wilder plays him because he does give us a lot of energy and he does create chances, he’s just really, really frustrating to watch. Maybe I just have to get used to the fact that he’s going to annoy me but he will make something happen 😂
