Swansea away tickets on sale @ 3pm

A match I'd love to go to, but I'm put off by the travel time and train cost, especially when I can still watch it.

The supporters bus solves the latter but not the former.

Absolutely disgraceful by MFC. What's the point of having a closed shop for elitists if they're going to let any prole get a ticket?

Not this season.

Just over 2k is the allocation for Huddersfield
This is what it says on the Football League Guide….
Away fans are located at one end of the ground in the AbZorb (South) Stand, where up to 4,000 supporters can be accommodated. Expect to have a ‘pat down’ search before entering the ground, which still has traditional man operated turnstiles. The facilities in this stand and the view of the playing action are generally fine. The acoustics of the stand are good, meaning that a relatively small number of fans can really make some noise. There is also a Ladbrokes outlet and a bar serving alcoholic drinks at the back of the stand, which remains open during the first half and at half time. The only gripes are that the male toilets are quite small in terms of capacity, which makes a half time visit rather longer than expected and that the ‘concourse’ is mostly in the open air.

Yet again, another away game that makes general sale.

Proving yet again it's easy enough to get to plenty of away games this season, and to build up points (for those high in demand away games).

I'm not quite sure this is the great point you think it is.

You're basically saying look you can go to one of the most costly, difficult and time consuming away games to get to. Just to maybe have a chance of going to the more local games. While the people who have all the points in the bank can skip it (which a lot most be doing if it's reaching general sale), continue to rack up the easier to get to / more desirable games to keep up their monopoly on the first choice tickets.

If you're going to give away points maybe they should give you more points for attending this type of game.

Those 'easier to get to and more desirable games' still make it to general sale though. This is my point, which in turn helps amass loyalty points.

Only Sunderland away and maybe 1 or 2 others have sold out before general sale?

So the loyalty scheme isn't a 'closed shop' as some have previously said.

Although the 'gold card status' & 'chairman's drink' is definitely currently a closed shop - which, without question, needs addressing by MFC.

Points based on distance travelled? Mind you, you could introduce all sorts of algorithms into the equation,. But another bug bear is why should gold card holders receive more initial points and then also chairman’s drink card holders, as they are now both closed shops, so younger fans are being penalised?? Why is the points based on a rolling 2 years, why not wipe the slate clean every 2 years, to break the monopoly, and this is someone talking who has over 200 points.

About 1100 sold, should make 1400 even if the result goes against is on Saturday, hopefully we win and other teams drop points.

Only 245 tickets left for sale. (out of 1,985?).

6 blocks have been on sale, plus seats allocated for fans with a disability.

As you said but there is probably 400 - 500 to still go on sale. If these tickets had been on sale before the WBA game we would be pushing 2000 tickets now.

EB - not sure there are still more unreleased blocks to come. When I said at least 500 tickets still to sell there was a complete unreleased block. That block is now released giving 6 blocks in total. There maybe only around 230 tickets left in total.

All - We sold out WBA, Burnley, Norwich, Sunderland, Birmingham, Sheffield United - without any going on general sale or only a very few. Luton, Huddersfield and Rotherham will sell out to Season ticket holders only. Thus 14 games out of 23 likely to go to general sale/low priority points. I think that's a record low for us in the Championship.
