Surrey v yorks , a glimmer of hope

I hadn't followed the Yorkshire story recently. Kohler-Cadmore off to Somerset etc. Shocking really, it's like carpetbaggers have descended on them as part of their punishment.

And Willey back to Northants, down to the three Yr contract they have offered him though which I guess Yorkshire couldn't / wouldn't match

There were lots of rumours that they were trying to sign Moeen but he has gone to Warwickshire.

Will the England 'big guns' be available for the final? The T20 series is over tonight and sat / sun.

So presume they will be for all 4 counties in finals day?

Root might be available and possibly even Bairstow as they are only in 1 day 50 over squad. Will Willey make himself available again?

Looking forward to this as got ticket been quite a few times but always missed years when Yorkshire got there due to other circumstances

Willey said it was nothing to do with the contract.

Fair enough, but they do have to sort out the issues that were all of their own making. They tried to ignore them and that proved disastrous.
He's probably right that players have been secondary, but if the governance and culture issues aren't sorted and weren't addressed there wouldn't have been a Yorkshire CCC as we know it. There are more important things than winning cricket matches, which a small number of Yorkshire members still don't seem to grasp. Thankfully Patel etc...seem to have grasped the nettle. Tbf Yorkshire's bed rock has usually been developing players rather than signing 'stars'.
