Genuine question - why don't you think it worked ?The south stand for away fans just didn’t work. No point going back to something that didn’t work.
The away fans had a huge prime position in the stadium. It took away from our atmosphere and the noise we were able to generate through interacting with large loud groups of our own fans.. whilst at the same time giving away fans great acoustics in a great spot.Genuine question - why don't you think it worked ?
It used to work fine when we first moved to the Riverside and we were in the PL where away crowds were decent. Once we went down and the numbers dwindled then it made the stadium look empty. We had to leave quite a big gap, couldn't sell season tickets in an area that might have away fans if there was a big following so the entire south stand had hardly anyone in it.Genuine question - why don't you think it worked ?
The womens team? taking the knee and the impact not doing it has had on the fanbase and perception of the club.. what we've been up to instead? and more importantly.. perhaps most important above all.. can we paint some lines on the floors in the concourse so folks know where to queue up?Supporters Forum Agenda for next Monday.
Some of the points raised on this thread were tackled and answered last meeting - I did link you to the minutes and also copied and pasted some of the answers about Errea kits etc.
There were enough suggestions from you for a whole meeting lolThe womens team? taking the knee and the impact not doing it has had on the fanbase and perception of the club.. what we've been up to instead? and more importantly.. perhaps most important above all.. can we paint some lines on the floors in the concourse so folks know where to queue up?
Primus - we have been asked to a discussion this summer looking at ways of possibly extending the GRFZ - am sure you are aware it is a special zone with lots of safeguarding in there. The concourse is a safe family zone with entertainment and education activities and even the food/drink is different to the rest of the ground. So, it isn't straight forward as providing extra seats - it is also how do you extend the special environment for families behind the scenes and before and possibly after the game?So nothing on the artificial restriction of the GRFZ and how you can't move into it as a ST holder because it's sold out? Or anything on why it has to be limited to a certain area of the ground and we can't access the offer whilst continuing to stay where we've always sat?
You don't have to extend the area, which is a designated family area, which presumably costs the club additional money to organise; you just extend the pricing model.Primus - we have been asked to a discussion this summer looking at ways of possibly extending the GRFZ - am sure you are aware it is a special zone with lots of safeguarding in there. Have a fridge with wine and soft drinks at those small mobile bars in the concourse that sell pints of Bud
fair enough, my own fault for trying to bring an and to racism, homophobia and sexism whilst bringing in a few extra million of revenue.. before mentioning about painting lines on the concourse floor so I can get a pint at half time a little quicker! There were enough suggestions from you for a whole meeting lol
Women's team - talks were ongoing, last I heard - I am hoping we can work with the women's club to raise their profile with fans and make them feel more a part of the Boro again.
Concourse lines - Peter Hall was asked last forum but last I heard he was ill. He was looking at increasing signage.
Taking the knee - I can bring it up in Any Other Business. If you look at the list Boro Massala have set up to try and make a difference - Boro Lioness is already working closely with the club over equality, diversity and inclusion.
I didn't pick the list but there were so many suggestions from this forum alone it would have taken a week to go through them all.
Alexander - I am pretty sure the suggestion has already been made to sell more products at the mobile bars. Can you make this suggestion please Rob?? All it needs is someone to put a couple of fridges in
I think it’s an easy improvement that might immediately help with drinks queues at the main bars
