Apologies it doesn’t read how I intended it. It should have said the ticket allocation we received from Sunderland, in regards to the game earlier this year.
They cannot have barriers in the concourses - has been asked and answered in previous forum meeting - deemed a safety issue.

Jo-Ann Swinnerton Mbro Senior Retail Manager did answer some of the questions regarding the Errea strips in last month's meeting and why they have had hardly any in stock.
3. Membership scheme a very valid question which I raised with Steve Gibson myself last week - we will keep on raising it now to hopefully see some movement for next season.
5. I don't know whether you saw the figures I posted last week but amazingly Boro has over 50% concessions from its season ticket holders.

How many empty seats do we have week in week out and how many people are on a waiting list for tickets?
OK - Boro were livid with Sunderland but powerless on the poor allocation we received. We have not been the only club shafted by them this season but we were most affected. I think the EFL will have had many complaints but the EFL has limited powers compared to the Premier League admin.
I get the impression that if the fixtures were in reverse that Sunderland would receive a tiny number of seats. But that is just my impression and should we draw them in the play offs we would need to keep schtum about this. ie we would surely be drawn away first so would want maximum allocation. So, therefore it would be foolish to be too open about Sunderland's possible allocation at the Riverside in advance of that.
I would think Sunderland would be far more generous to us in the play offs because they would fear we would give them a tiny number of seats.
So, don't be expecting an official response until the season is over or Sunderland are out of the play offs.
I think there is a willingness to look at ways of extending the Family Section.

Could the away section not be blocked off? Someone raised a valid point with how many away fans actually come to the riverside. Seems a terrible waste with the number of empty seats separating them.

Why are the club so amateur at anything commercial? No kits, extortionate prices when there are kits, dreadful quality of everything else but top end prices, ridiculous delivery prices.
Ticket sales are clearly not good value for money for the club or the fans. 50% concessions should be a massive concern because it shows the people in the primary demographic (working age adults) aren't attending. I'd guess kids are stopping going when they become adults and prices ticket and long term session ticket holders are all pensioners and will stop going so it isn't sustainable long term.
Walk-ups being stupid prices and having booking fees is a joke. Tickets having to be printed or posted, it's 2023 they should be on mobiles. Not being able to retrispectively allocate priority points if you pay on the gate at away games.
Why could I not get a ticket for the Chelsea cup match but a season ticket holder could have 2 and when I buy multiple tickets for people (as gifts) I only get priority points for 1 of the tickets.
Why do I have to sign in to watch a video on the MFC website. It's not exclusive content, just show me the bloody videos.

That’s good but for the moment why can’t concessions allocated there be able to be taken elsewhere. At the moment and for the foreseeable it’s a closed shop. My son is getting into football and getting him in there, even for a match day, at the moment is as unrealistic as me being able to afford for him to sit with me in the north due to price increases.
Also, I’ve mentioned it before but what about the area around the ground? Paint barriers and walls red and white? Flag poles etc? Just to improve it.
The image of Massimo above the club shop is tattered and looking in need of some repair, and has done for a while. Any chance of doing it up or replacing with a new image?

JAS's answers aren't great - this is very much not the first time we've had huge stock issues with Errea, it's totally amateur when you can't buy a kit for your kid for Christmas - we're trying to compete with much bigger teams for fans at an early age and shooting ourselves repeatedly in the foot.
3. Their continued chat with no action is entirely ridiculous it's about time the forum strongly pushed back and challenged this.
5. So what? The GRFZ is completely sold out and I can't get a ticket in there or anywhere else using the deal for my little boy - so I can't get him a strip and I can't get him an ST - the club can't be surprised in the future if he's either backing another team or not interested at all. The premise for the deal for STs bringing their child for free is to capture the next generation of fans, but then it's massively artificially limited - there's empty seats around me, he could be there watching the game, I'd be spending money on him in the concourse every single game but no the club once again shoots itself in the foot.

Rob this is once again the club talking a good game whilst doing nothing, Sunderland shafting us has been happening for years - we do nothing in response, when pushed we tell the fan forum we're "livid", job done as far as MFC are concerned.

Build a supporters club ( like the old days ) on the fan zone site .Fan zone is good , but in poor weather it is too cold and wet , why can the club not buy the Marquee used for the beer festival and put it up in winter , or better still create a permanent covered area with heaters . Even something similar to the blue bell pub acklam , where they have a big cover over the outside area .
Build a permanent outside feature building which looks good but can be used all year round , for events and occasions which will generate money and pay for the building . Solar panels would provide the power . This could be then used for live bands etc.
People will come to something decent , it is a long walk from the town so open the concourses earlier , sell cans instead of draft and pour them as and when to save time , and provide a better product .
Shirt supply is a missed opportunity, plan earlier , but get the choice right , whoever has been choosing the shirt is clueless. So many poor offerings over the years , green shirts the main problem , sales must be rock bottom on all versions over the years , but someone still insists in a green shirt !
keep it to RED AND WHITE / BLUE AND BLACK / PLAIN WHITE versions.
