It's appalling that anyone should highlight why the UK Prime Minister asked a homeless man in a Christmas food shelter if he was in business.

What's Christmas for if not to have stuff like that banned?

Stop criticising the government!! Taking public issue with the demonising of foreigners, the destruction of the economy, the constant lying and the illegal giving out of vast amounts of money to friends is bullying.

Why are you singling out Sherlock1969?

There must be about 50 other posters with similar or even stronger views.

The same advice goes to you as to others, if you're not interested in the thread subject matter don't open it. That way you won't be offended.

I'll open whatever thread I want to open and if I see good, genuine, traffic driving posters been unfairly jumped on because their opinion differs then I'll stick up for them.

You need to go back and read what Erimus74 posted and what it was in response to. It certainly wasn't anything Sherlock1969 said.

I don't see you criticising any other posters on this thread. Why is that?

He literally asked, without a seconds pause for thought, what a homeless man's "plans were for the weekend" after just being told that he would like to just get through Christmas first.

Sunak has no idea what that man is going through or even the slightest sympathy for his situation, the fact that this has even been made public is mind boggling.

Just like the Kia Rio "wtf, how to I use a card" fiasco, Sunak and his team have no clue how to make him look anything other than somebody who is your better.

...during which time he was of course Chancellor, not to mention being fined for partying while ordinary people died, exactly the same as Johnson.
 
For what it's worth I don't think fundamentally Sunak is a terrible person. He's weak, out of his depth and not very competent, but ultimately he's a product of his background and upbringing.

He doesn't understand what homeless people are going through, how could he? They're so far removed from the world he's lived in his entire life they might as well live in Narnia. He barely understands the middle class, never mind anyone poorer than that.

He probably thinks he's doing the right things. Problem is he's surrounded by people (as he has all his life) who will be telling him things like homelessness is a choice, poverty is exaggerated and anyone can get on if they're just willing to work "hard enough". And he'll believe it because he'll never have seen anything to shake him from that worldview.

He is completely unfit to be prime minister, just a privileged little rich boy who sees everything through a very specific lense, surrounded by some very dangerous immoral snakes who'll have him wrapped round their fingers.

It’s relevant to the thread. Tory who defends drowning children defends Tory government and accuses those who call it out of driving people away from the board.

Which I didn’t by the way. As has already been stated, I didn’t say anything whatsoever to Erimus.

I’ve just checked the other thread and I hadn’t even posted on it before Erimus made his ‘I’m leaving’ announcement.

You can retract your accusation in your own time 👍
