Sunak understands the challenges people face

Yeah, he’s great, isn’t he? What the cameras don’t show was him discussing jobs with the other people in the soup kitchen line. He suggested 64 year old disabled homeless veteran Jim tries getting into playing professional football, heroine addict Mary becomes a pilot with BA and serially abused, vulnerable self harming emaciated teen Claire becomes a Hollywood superstar.

He’s brill Rishi!

He also asked some of the staff good questions too -
‘How many cars do you have?’
‘Is your second home in the Bahamas or Dubai, and will you spend Christmas there?’
‘Have you made much on crypto?’

Best of all, he asked how much the staff get in their pay packet, by way of a Christmas bonus.
‘Oh, we don’t get paid…!’
‘Errr what?! I don’t understand…’
Then followed a 20 minute conversation with his advisors, where they tried to explain that some people (angels) try to help those in need and don’t require money for it. He still didn’t understand. ‘There has to be a catch! You must be making money somewhere in this process?’ In the end agreed to disagree and bundled him into his limo to take him off to his next photo opportunity at a children’s hospice…… first up was 7 yr old Ben…
‘So Ben…this is a nice place….. do you want to get into corporate finance when you leave university?’
Good old Rishi

That clip makes me angry, sad and laugh in almost equal measure.

Just the fact such an absurdly privileged and wealthy man is actually there purely for the political photo opportunity is appalling enough, before he made the mistake of opening his mouth....

Does that mean he's banned from asking him ?
Worth remembering that in his position he could create a society where no one has to live like that

Asking someone who is homeless what they are doing for Christmas is incredible out of touch, what does he think he will be doing.
