It does appear he is laughing at her. However, is he not pretending to laugh like paying doctors their worth, or just restoring pay parity with 2010 is a ridiculous idea?

I don't know, he is politically dumb, but that dumb, really?

I might be misreading, but are you trying to defend or excuse this?

It's important to note that the media weren't invited to this, it was captured by chance. This is what he thinks of ordinary people.

Think the laugh was just a patronising - if only it was easy type of laugh, you don't appreciate the decision making progress.

Sunak is though a socially inept politician and can't think on his feet. If we get tv debates before the GE Starmer will destroy him.
 
I can't understand people trying to find excuses for this type of behaviour to be honest.

There needs to be a people’s uprising, get this lot out as quickly as possible and let the next lot know, we’re not having it anymore. I fear the days of any government representing its people are long gone, whoever governs it will be more of the same will be my guess, unless they are made more accountable to the people they are supposed to represent

I am not trying to excuse it, I just find it difficult to believe he could be so dumb, politically. I wonder if we are misinterpreting it.
