I know this one. If you are not from Afghanistan or Ukraine there isn't a legal pathway to claim asylum, it says that on the governments website!

What I’m saying is not racist….it’s business.
The Albanians now control the UK Cocaine market. We are the one of the biggest users of it anywhere. There may be a relationship between the high influx surge of young Albanian men and the expansion of the market.
Their business model seems to be…Bypass the usual distributor and go straight to the source in Columbia, coupled with lower prices and higher quality. Backed up, no doubt by the fact that they’re renowned for extreme violence if crossed.
It’s a thought.

Quite an interesting article. They have forgone greed to dominate the market - a better quality product at a lower price. If only some businesses in the UK took this approach!
That was written in 2019 - sounds like they had things pretty sewn up by then. Not sure why they would need a massive influx of men in the last few months. I would imagine it's more likely that it's socioeconomic reasons. This article with interviews from Albanians is quite eye opening:

It's quite easy to brand immigrants as criminals and that is what The Government is currently trying to do with Albanians in particular, but there are always underlying reasons as to why people will risk their lives crossing the Channel to make a new life for themselves.
We really need the Government to sort the asylum claim process out so if there are criminals they can be quickly sent back. That is a long way from happening as they don't have any intention of speeding up the process going on recent evidence. This isn't the fault of Albanians - it is squarely the fault of the Conservative Government who are failing their duty to protect our borders and our citizens.
These people are human, don't forget that.

I haven’t taken anything a Conservative government said with an iota of belief since I was 14 years old…and believe me that was a very long time ago.

The last thing anyone would do if they ran an illegal trade in another country is use their own, easily distinguishable people to run their operations. They would utilise local people. I'm not buying that we have an influx of albanians so that they can run the drug industry. Cops would be al over every albanian none-stop, easy pickings.

Everything that is happening with immigration today is tory policy. We left the dublin agreement which , when in place,drastically reduced immigration into the uk and gave all asylum seekers a route to apply for asylum in the UK. The centers were located in mainland europe, not the uk. In 2016 the number of "illeagal" boat crossings was measured in 100's of people. This year that has increased to near 50k. This is by tory design,
When the tory government use language like, invasion and the woke, tofu eating, garduan reading, liberals across the house, it's because they have nothing to offer their core voters so they are trying to trigger them. Why? Because it's the only possible route back into government at the next election and they know it. They cannot point to a single manifesto promise made in 2019 that they have delivered on, not one. So they point out that labour voted against the borders bill and that Starmer supported Corbyn who would have dismantled our armed forces and left NATO, despite the Labour manifesto in 2019, promising more spending on the armed forces that the tories promised. Tories good with the economy, despite 800Billion wiped off the UK economy in 7 days by Liz Truss. Good on immigration, despite the highest levels of immigration the country has seen since the second world war.
It's all they have left, a culture war, and anybody who hates the tory ideology should celebrate
Sit back and appluade the demise of the tories, despite what it is doing to the UK, to immigrants, to our less wealthy. It's the begining of the end. It probably had to happen to get the swing required to change the political landscape in the UK.

And yes some of us want to push back against this relentless cruelty. This nasty culture war designed to stoke up hatred for people trying to flee persecution. Some of us want to fight back against the fascism. You should start asking the question why you don’t? Why you’re happy to spread hate filled rhetoric that could get people killed?
