With the Boro needing two wins, and a possible improvement of +5 in our goal difference, I’ve noticed that Stoke City have not been beaten by more than one goal in any game in all competitions this season, bar a 3-0 defeat to Fulham in the season opener!

Today is going to be tight, to the wire, and tense!

Before the mighty Boro roll out 4-1 winners!!!

They’re a solid team but must be very disappointed about their season as a whole.
 
Yep, just looked back at their results this season & other than their opening game away loss @ Fulham 3v0.. never more than a one goal margin in all of their defeats..

Will he a tough ask... Though there is nothing else for us to play for.. so we can go for win & goals..
 
Today is all about goals. I know it won't happen but I would do everything I could to get Crooks, McGree, Payero and Tav in the team with Jones.

3-0 defeat to Fulham in the season opener?

We played Fulham first game of the season and drew 1-1...
 
As I said on another thread they have conceded 2 goals or more on 17 occasions and to teams like Derby, Cardiff, Reading, Peterborough, so all is far from lost. An early goal would do us the world of good, then keep calm and tight at the back and nick the second.
Easy this management malarky.
 
A decent side with plenty of 'names'

They are coming out of Monk type spell. Massive spending that's clogged up the wage bill for 2-3 years on such contracts they can't give them away.

They are very much like us. You'd have backed them for a playoff push.

Just shows how much Luton / Blackburn / Cov / Millwall are punching. Stoke are far better resourced.

On paper a far harder game than Hull. Hopefully they are 'on the beach'. I think we win if we score first.
