We absolutely outplayed them down there under wilder and chucked 2points away with a last minute equaliser. Im backing us to get them points back plus one more. Not bothered if performance is patchy just win ugly if thats what it takes
 
I agree tough game, Josh Laurent also looks a good player for them, they bullied Sunderland so we'll have to be up for them being physical and aggressive.
But I'm confident we'll win!
 
We are a fine footballing team, that's become very obvious possibly the best I've seen since 91 apart from Robson's first 4 years(97/98 was my favourite league promotion the attacking power we had was immense).

What players could we bring in to win ugly as people say, crooks, jones(time wasting winning free kicks, fry to be more solid.

Off subject I thought the goalie was really good against Swansea, quick feet and passing was sharp.

Quality position to be in, brilliant time to be from Boro!!

I don't know what Stoke will bring but my guess is between 1000 and 1200 as they have won their last 2 away games and won 4 from 6. Their form is top 6.

Why fret over the opposition at all?
If we perform, we'll win, possibly handsomely to boot.
Look at the stats. Under Carrick we perform way more than we underperform.
I'm not saying we just need to turn up, nor am I dismissing any of our upcoming opponents, but to me, we are the best side in the Championship right now.

Plus our home form is 100% under carrick.

Because this is what we do. We are into the run in now and every game is life an death. Feels like 2015/16 again when you’re kicking every ball.

I love it and boy have I missed it

As much as I loved Aitor, he didn't play the game how I would. I did however appreciate the way he approached the task at hand even though I always wanted us to take a few more risks going forward.
Under Carrick it's the polar opposite. We actively encourage risk taking and it is paying huge dividends in terms of goals and also our ability to come from behind, not something that Aitors side was known for.
That season, every game in the run-in was attritional on the nerves, this season I'm far more relaxed and confident.
