You and I very rarely fall out - but I found your comments unhelpful.
Racists lead booing, “taking the knee”. We need to take their feet from under them. People make a choice. No one [as far as I can see] has suggested anyone is forced to do anything. It would be a massive step if even one of our players decided to support the gesture, but it's up to them. We can influence personal decisions by what we say and do, on the ground, through social media, on relevant forums, etc. Subtlety is often effective in ways which rigid rules and directives aren't. Racists drip-feed their vomit under the door, cloaked in “freedom of speech”. We have to seal up the door. Allow one rat in and there's always plenty will follow.​
