'The Dock End' sounds better tho.. Teesside is the whole area.
But it is literally Tees-side isn't it?
Did you know that like Northern Rail was rebranded as Northern, Teesside Park was rebranded as simply Teesside? That was back in 2016 - it worked well didn't it? ;)

Yeah.. but it's confusing and diminutive. Can you imagine one of the Liverpool stands being called the merseyside? Propper naff

We were no more than Clough’s fourth favourite team for most of his life, just as a reminder to those saying he should have a statue/stand.

For me it should only ever be for people who are unquestionably “ours” (at least in this country), so that’s Juninho, Mowbray, Mannion, Camsell, Hardwick etc.

Even Slaven (and mark my words there will be huge outpouring of grief when the Wolfman dies despite people criticising him for his views etc while he’s alive).

Clough is Forest’s (mostly) and Derby’s. Robbo is United’s.

The Riverside will always be the Riverside to me. But a stand for Gibson would be very fitting when he snuffs it, it would set him apart from everyone else (rightly).

Should really be name proper sands now to at least attempt to give the ground a bit more character. How long are they going to go with N,W, E, S

Cant Rob start a petition to rename them, lets vote

Mannion actually went on strike to get away from Boro. He failed and had to start playing for us again.
Different times of course but players were literally treated as "servants" so I don't think we can judge anyone playing in such a different era.
Clough's family do not want his statue moved - they have been asked. It means a lot to them that he is walking through the park for all time where he once lived and played.
