Steve Gibson open letter to Derby Administrators

I’m probably alone in really finding this whole thing distasteful and shabby now. I think this all needs addressing in private conversations and whilst I accept our clubs anger at the mud slinging of late I think issuing public statements and open letters two days in a row and having the spat in open view of the rest of the world isn’t particularly helpful for anyone. There are no real winners here

Sorry, but I think Gibson's letter is pretty awful, and I say that as someone who doesn't give two hoots about Derby going to the wall. I understand why he's done it, but it's whiny and most of what he asks for are things he has no right to know.

1 is none of his business.
2 refers to himself in the third person!
3 is none of his business
4 will come back to bite him, because if he's trying to make everything else public then he really needs to say publicly what his compromise offer is
5 is none of his business
He probs knows the answers to most. He just pointing a few things out that morris/administrators are doing or not doing.

It's not great for all, but you can understand Gibson's anger with MPs, and news and sky sports dragging his name. He doesn't deserve any of that after sterling years of service as a football chairman

I love these app notifications about the Derby drama. Like an old school classmate you haven't actually spoken to for 20 years airing their emotional laundry on Facebook.

Steve Gibson: Cannot believe yous ram lot.
Derby County: 🐍🐍🐍

If Mel Morris is worth over £550m (Wikipedia) he could settle the Boro and Wycombe claims without affecting the vast majority (around 95%) of his personal wealth. Then sell out all the debts and assets of the club and walk away.

He created the financial mess at Derby.

Everything I say is in my opinion :) Its just if the letter was intended to help his cause I dont think it will do that. Time will tell.-

So both MFC and the EFL issuing open letters the same day, showing the administrators in a pretty bad light and clearly intimating they are lacking in professionalism.

I think it’s pretty clear where fault lie in this sorry episode, and it’s not with MFC or Steve Gibson in any way.

The cat is out of the bag, the administrators/Mel Morris have been dragging their feet.. in the mean time it’s all boro’s fault.

Is Gibson even wanting the money for financial gain or does he just see receiving the money as an admission of guilt / "something being done" ?

I think (b). Morris shown to be guilty, sets a deterrent to any other chump trying to game the system.

Swag will be handy, mind.

I was 'told' - so I don't how true this is.... there have been several HUGE arguments with MFC/Gibson and Derby/Morris in a few EFL meetings over the last few years..... so it's much deeper than money I would guess at this stage, like I said this information may be wrong, but who knows
