I know performances will likely be the main factor, but I do wonder if some of it is linked to his after match comments too. He was blaming dodgy ref decisions again, he went down that route at Forest too. Some people would think that's not a good look and reflects badly on the club.

I think Potter chinned them off thinking he was getting the England job, might be interested now but I still think he will hold out for a better job than them as sacking someone after a couple of months who was doing a decent job is not a good look.

Everton’s prospective new owner has apparently sounded out Moyes for a return after the takeover is completed so they might struggle to get him as well.

Effectively to paraphrase "there's more focus and VAR now and so I cant get away with asking my dad's mates to help me out like they did in the Championship, where I'd steal results through barefaced cheating"
