He gets a thumbs up from me purely based on his decision to turn the music off just as the atmosphere was building and the teams came out.

It used to rile me when it would be a big game, the atmosphere would be building and Mark Page would turn the music up and kill it.

I also liked it when the fans were applauding Warnock after the game and he said "Neil Warnock everyone", and there was an almighty cheer. Meant Warnock could have his moment and we could show our appreciation for him keeping us in the division.

Please let it not be Gary Philipson, recently described on a poster as a local 'Legend' I am sorry I have nothing against the man but the word legend is thrown around far too easily these days. Legends for me are people like Elvis Presley, Paul McCartney, Ronaldo, Messi, George Best etal. People who have made their mark on the world stage. People who are gifted in their trade and transcend mere mortals such as myself, and millions of others. Just saying.

someone said to me he supported Sunderland maybe crossed wires i know he was stadium pa announcer there, but yes that doesnt mean he's a mackem. Imagine a geordie doing the PA at SOL or mackem doing it at SJP they wouldnt get out alive!
