Suffered with our rotation system I feel. Seemed a confidence player who needed a run of games to get up to speed. Didn't benefit from not being a Wilder man either. What's it with us and strikers?!

He started 20 of the 28 matches he was available for under Wilder, he played between 20-30 minutes in 4 of the 5 matches he came off the bench in.
He missed 4 squads entirely through illness and he didn't start the next match because both starting strikers had scored in the previous one.

He was given more than enough time to get up to speed.

He just wasn't good enough.

20 starts under Wilder, only 5 goals and 2 of them were penalties.

Fair play but that's 8 games he didn't start, and I bet in those 7 he did start - he was hooked after an hour. Thats a lot of game time lost.

I feel like balogun and connolly coming in "disrupted" him so to speak.

If other strikers coming in 'disrupted' him then he is not the striker for us.
His attitude should have been 'I will show you who is the best striker' and not let it affect him at all.

Totally agree any player, especially strikers, should expect to be replaced if they aren't delivering what's required
