Spence On His Way?

Loan with an option to buy? Surely not, that makes no sense, not like he'll be on much for us to save on wages and you'd think we'd only be doing it for the transfer fee?
 
Clearly we need some funds coming in to fund the newcomers, a couple of whom will be on decent salaries. Dijksteel is growing into the wingback role after a shaky start and young Olusanya and maybe Siliki or even Tav can cover if necessary. We have plenty of options up front now.
 
It will feel deflating if it goes through. Not quite the deadline day I had hoped for, more out than in. Not enough strength in depth.
 
I'm not sure why anyone should feel down about this transfer window. I think it's been excellent considering the financial situation of the club. If we have to pay for the positives with a few negatives so be it. At least we haven't had to sell Tav, Fry or McNair. Well done to the club.

I wasn’t that engaged with it until the Morsy news - which for me was a downer on the day. I don’t know anything about these 2 new faces and therefore can’t get excited. Hope they live up to their billing.
 
Absolutely madness to loan him out. I don't see how this benifits us in the slightest? He's not on big money.

It would leave us woeful short in both the LB and RB area. I was all for selling him to a prem club. Just pointless loaning him (especially to forest).

All not helped by the fact Fisher is crocked.

I feel the same with Morsy. Yes we've brought in players but it's not like we are stacked in any position.
 
It would only benefit us if the club still see potential in him and think that him playing a lot of games would help his development.

Personally I don't see that much potential and a loan would probably only hinder his value.
 
Our squad is not big - if Spence went its for a decent fee to a Premier League type club with a sell on clause.

I'd **** my pants of we bought Rangers Tav. He's a proper player. Well out of our league. I'm surprised premier league teams haven't snapped him up yet. He's wasting his career in the SPL.
