Southgate confirms Henderson for Bellingham tomorrow

You shouldn't be playing for England by being a "decent player", you really should be much better than that.
 
I don’t know why people slag Henderson, he’s a great player, better on the ball than people give him credit for and a total leader. You don’t captain that Liverpool team if you can’t play.

I wouldn’t pick him over Bellingham and Rice but he was good again tonight.

For the purposes of balance, Henderson was absolutely awful against the US when he came on. There's even a highlights reel knocking about somewhere showing how many times he gave the ball away.
He was very good last night though and i can see him keeping his place against Senegal.
 
20 caps at 19 year old. He’s getting a lot exposure and a lot of experience. He’s going to be some talent. Hopefully he can turn wonderkid to superstar
