West Lower is Pensioner central, more there than any other part of the ground.
Careful with the West stand jibes, my Dad still likely to give you a clip if you stray round the concourse NB from the cheap seats, and he's 87.

Red Faction have done a tremendous amount in their 14 years.
The Club tried killing them at birth and then later decided they were a positive aspect of the Club.
Sometimes I think people like the criticise almost for the sake of it and don't look at the broader picture, so a glass than is 90% full is criticised for been 10% empty.
Can anyone tell a Championship club with anything better than Red Faction, even as good?

See this I don't understand. Football songs have never been 100% accurate. Bryan Robson just walked about in a regular world, there was no "Robson wonderland". Actually come to think of it a Robson wonderland is probably a pub so you can have that one.
I have never heard tell of juninho wearing headgear with magical properties. I've never seen him wear a hat. There are no reports of a mass exodus from Newcastle on a papal visit. And crooksys hair is rubbish.

The former begot the latter.
People moved across to the North Stand for the atmosphere but didn't seem to realise they then had to have some responsibility in creating it.
Singing when things are going well is easy.
Singing for 90 mins when it's all going wrong on the pitch is a thankless task and RF deserve every credit.

I used to sit in the South East corner and hated red faction when they started off. They definitely won me over and now I couldn't imagine sitting in any other stand than the South stand.
My son walked out with the players on Tuesday and had to sit in the North stand. He loved walking out with the players but was fuming he couldn't sit in his usual seat.
Be interesting to see If the "Oh Carrick" song starts tomorrow and if everyone sings the same version
