Song change of words, "Carrick Said"

The only chant that I really remember that is interchangeable for different managers of ours is the _____ _______'s Red and white army"

All others tend to have their own chants, sometimes more than one, but most are unique to them and that's part of the special nature of them?

"Walking along, singing a song, walking in a McClaren Wonderland" would have sounded just as alien as "Oh, Carrick said". And that's with Robson's tenure at the club generally considered a good one.

I hate thinking that the Jawdees are gonna give Mr No personality (Howe) another 2 seasons and wait for Carrick to emerge as a top manager before poaching the Geordie 'home' to his 'club'....sincerely hope not!!

For that to happen then Carrick would have probably had to get us promoted and then keep us up for a season at least so I would take that I think.

Didn’t we have all this with Robson, McClaren & Karanka?

I agree leave it in the past.
I mean.. he doesn’t seem to love Paddy McNair, we can describe Isiah Jones on the right hand side and it looks as if Crooks has had his hair cut or is perhaps using a different product..

Hackney and Akpom deserve a mention

Need to get that Wilder Song changed and sorted for Carrick ..."Carrick said put the ball on Chuba's head", words can't describe Isiah running down the right hand side ....etc...seems a shame to lose the song as it's an Iconic Boro Anthem and gets the ground rockin'
Agree with some of the posts, leave it be, it's not Iconic the tune was used at loads of grounds, also Isiah isn't exactly running down any side at the moment. Yes it was catchy as have many other tunes over the past 40yrs.

🎼 Michael Carrick sed

put the ball on Chubas head

oh words cant describe - gilesie crossing from the left hand side

roo mcgree is fine - scores belters all the time

thats why we sing this song

Every football club in the world changes the words to songs - theyre not set in stone.
