Sol Brynn had been training with the first team since late December when he was recalled from QotS.

I presume Wilder took a look at him then.

I'm glad he's getting great reviews in League Two, hopefully he can force his way in to the club's thinking next season.
Steffen will be moving on and you'd presume Roberts will be first choice, unless a potential new manager has different idea of what he wants.
