I think Scotland had a bit of beef with Norway in the 12th or 13th century so maybe they are counting that?

I think the Norway one is because of the raids on the Tirpitz in a Norwegian harbour, and other similar raids when it was occupied by Germany. It's a bit of a stretch to call it an invasion, but then the whole point of the map was to stretch the truth as far as they could to make a point about the "evils of empire".

The "invasion of Iceland" is even more spurious.

Did we not invade Norway at the start of the second world war to take it over before the Nazis did?
I think we also did a similar thing at Iceland though with greatly more success.
