There’s a whole other section of the south stand who create a lot of atmosphere, completely separate to RF usually.

They could reform with the non prosecuted people to become a new group, maybe call themselves Crimson Clique and be a force for good, denounce bad behaviour and concentrate on creating an atmosphere through legal law abiding methods agreed with the club itself. Nah, you don’t allow poor behaviour and rule breaking for fear that there may be consequences, you don’t give special protections to people because of which group they belong to. And we don’t go down the Italian route of appeasing the ultras.

It will be sad if toys are thrown out of their prams but they can't be allowed to do as they please and flout the ground rules.

You're able to do something about that. Sing. Start a chant or two when it's quiet.

Try to connect with people near you who also join in. It only takes a half-dozen people to get a song started.

The hard part is keeping it going for the full 90.

RF do that with the drum. The North Stand used to just have people willing to chant all match and accept that there'd be times that very few people would be joining in.

There's still a vocal core but it gets lost in the noise from the South - which isn't a bad thing. Just different times.

RF have been fantastic but if they're going to disappear up their own backsides with more stupidity like yesterday then someone else will take up the baton.

It was always thus.

If RF want to put on displays like yesterday without consequences they’re probably going to have to find a Polish or Italian team to follow.

I’m all for the atmosphere they do/have created but they know they overstepped the mark yesterday and they’re going to have to take any bans/denial of future displays on the chin.

I think the club will take a hard line with it, RF will have knew that but cut off their nose to spite their face. Good luck getting any future displays authorised by the club.
