Fulham signing Gyokores would probably allow us to sign Muniz. So not all bad
 
We will try for Forss, Parrot and some other 20 year old. We might get one or two of them. On deadline day.
 
I still don't understand how people think we may get Gyökeres? He's clearly the 25mil CF. So even at 10-15 or 20 he's well out of our reach.

I imagine it's Armstrong and Muniz as a loan offer. Although everyone will want Armstrong.

I have a feeling Forss will be a perm. I'm sure they were reporting about 3-4mil. That's more our budget.

Armstrong and Muniz will cost a fair few quid in loan fees and wages. Balogun was 1mil and Hugill 2mil.

I'd imagine Armstrong would be a couple of mil at the least. They paid 10mil for him. They ain't just going to give him away.
 
Wasn't sure about Forss initially, but Brentford fans were pretty unanimous in saying he was an excellent finisher.....so with Jones and Giles creating chances he could be a perfect fit.
Armstrong has done it at this level, be an excellent signing.
Muniz, only seen bits on TV, looked okay so can't really give any comment. Highly rated, doubt they would want to sell, but be a good loan signing.

As long as we buy Gyokeres I will be happy.
Couldnt care less about Muniz or Forss.
Armstrong on loan would be better.
 
Can I just ask about Gyokeres - are we actually interested or is it just fans wishful thinking? Never seen us linked with him in any media outlets 🤷🏻‍♂️🤷🏻‍♂️
 
I agree I think we’re interested but they want big money and at this level that’s a huge gamble

We know Armstrong can score consistently at this level.
 
As yet another day comes to a fruitless end, relax with the knowledge that our full time recruitment team have just earned another days wage.
 
Alternatively, the deals we want for our first choice strikers are in place and we await the parent/current clubs signing a replacement before they are released.

We could always bin that off and go and buy some more Carthorses next week because people on here are panicking about how the first few games will go… think I’d rather wait and have the players we really want for 40 games than another waste of space for 46
 
All just opinion but I think the only money we have to spend is the Spence money, maybe a little more - say £14m total.

I think our first choice was Gyökeres but Cov wanted most/all of that money so we couldn't do it because we need other players.

Wilder has claimed there's 3 premier league strikers but we need to wait till parent clubs have replacements - the only players who are close to playing for their PL teams are Muniz, Armstrong and Forss. So those are our first choice 3. I also think he'll want at least one of those on a permanent deal.

I think CW is probably smart enough to know we're unlikely to get all three of our first choice strikers, which is why we've also enquired about Parrott, and possibly Simms and Odubeko.

I think we'll get Forss for £8 million THIS WEEK.

I then think Armstrongs wages will be too much of a hurdle and a club with parachute payments will come in for him, so we'll move onto our second batch of strikers.

We'll sign Odubeko for £2 million next week, and Muniz on loan end of window

8 million? Where have you plucked that figure from. I don’t see it being that much at all. 4.5 mil tops

I hope it's not but... prices for young experienced players are insane, and strikers are usually the most expensive position.
