Sky just said new Sunlun manager IS Tony Mowbray

Mowbray has question marks surrounding his managerial career. Of course he does but sunderland are a club who are alwsys going to struggle to attract proven people. Who else were they going to get?

Ffs.

Could mean his first game in charge is against Middlesbrough, unless he's in place in time for Wednesday.
I thought exactly the same!
Still not announced though which suggests the owner isn’t totally sure on mogga which is great news for us to play them without an announced manager because they will be weaker and rudderless as a result.
If he or another guy is announced before the game with us then it’s gonna be a much tougher game

The guy is pure quality, if anything I think he undersells himself. He can do the hardwork that a lot of managers cannot, yet I don’t think he gets nearly as much recognition as he deserves.

He turned Blackburn round, put money in the coffers then was mugged off by their owners.

Pretty good record for baskets case of a club that were destined for league one.

Pretty good record with Blackburn:

Promotion
15th
11th

8th

a manager that lets his heart rule his head perhaps when it comes to moves. Sunderland fans should be over the moon with this.

The first name I thought of when Burnley were interested in Chris Wilder

T O N Y M O W B R A Y
A Blackburn fan doesn’t tend to agree with you mate and they have the most recent and are best placed to comment

One single Blackburn has been blessed with such an extensive knowledge of football and football analysis.. that their opinion on Tony Mowbray supersedes mine!?!?!
