Sheffield Wednesday allocation.

Irrelevant club, sh!te fans, Sh!te owner. Cannot see why we would give them less than the Dirties or the Mackems.
I’ve amended it 😁
Considering what their fans have been up to this season I wonder if SYP/CP might be in Boro’s ear?

I don't understand this.
Yes 2k for Sunderland, but I would have given the full 2.6 or even 3 to sheff wed.
It's not like the home end stands will be a sell out.
Maybe MFC, like some other clubs, are just going for the easy option and giving the minimum.
Can't wait for the reaction from Leeds 😃.
Joking aside, it may lead to reduced away allocations for us.

They should have got the same as Sunderland - 2575.

What did SWFC ask for?
Sunderland didn’t get 2575 this year. That was their allocation in September 2022. It was pretty much a flat 2000 last month. Which seems to be more or less all we ever offer of these days, in common with a number of other clubs, who seem to be moving to a conclusion that offering a bigger allocation than the league minimum isn’t worth the hassle.

It's not as if we get sell-out away corners anyway.
The vast majority of the time it's a handful, so why stop money from coming in through the gate.
Don't give us any of that health and safety rubbish, either: we crammed Chelsea in, and the place was heaving.
I thought we were hard up?

Policing issue maybe with it being bank holiday?

Certainly no evidence of their fans misbehaving on previous visits or needle between the two of us

Does seem odd they always come to the Riverside in good numbers (unlike their City rivals)

Leeds wont be happy if we give them the same treatment (they got 4.5-5k last time we played them here)

And Sheffield Wednesdays fans are usually well behaved.

Is it maybe because of their away support at other stadiums this season?

They had those idiots holding the photo of Bradley Lowery up and also had fans charged with racism a couple of weeks ago.

Although I would feel aggrieved if Boro had reduced allocations due to the behaviour of that racist cretin in the Boro end against Leicester.
